It has been an honour to teach the SIT Drawing Studio 2021. The studio hosted fourteen students who joined this program to explore the creative potential of drawing. They immersed themselves in various projects and managed to produce an impressive number of artworks, including drawing from observation, basic anatomical studies, life drawings with models, concept character development, perspective renderings, 3D modelling, storyboarding and many additional drawing methods. They learned how to prepare and present their works while sharing feedback and support.

Despite the challenges of online learning, the students managed to find inspiration and to work long hours while testing their creative limits. They inspired each other and initiated many new friendships. I would like to thank my students for successfully completing this year’s program, in the hope that they will continue to grow as creatives and individuals.
