Architecture + Environment Design Studio

The Architecture + Environmental Design Studio experimented with how space is formed and makes us feel.  These experiments were then extended as students considered how spatial interventions can improve the place we live in, Vancouver. Students in this studio focused on developing their spatial understanding and were introduced to a design process that relies heavily on empathizing with users and intense iteration as means to refine proposals.  By engaging with this Studio’s projects students honed their ability to express their ideas using scale models, drawings and diagrams.
