Artist Statement

Art has been a passion of mine since I was a kid. It has always been an escape from reality; A psychological state where I can visualize and imagine whatever I desire. There are no guidelines to stop me. That is what I steer towards in my designs today. My main goal is to create an escape from reality for myself and my audience. I work in several mediums such as charcoal, paint, pencil, colour pencil and watercolour. Like most artists, I take inspiration from my surroundings. I engage in art when I struggle to express my emotions. Instead, I convey them through art. In addition, my designs take inspiration from Iranian, Renaissance, Gothic and Modern architecture and surrealist ideas.
