Experience + Interaction Design

This no-technology user experience (UX) design course emphasized hands-on, creative learning in a playful class environment. Students engaged in various activities, starting with sketching personalized notebook covers and conducting user interviews with their peers. Over the two weeks, students explored human behaviour, design principles, user flows and mobile wireframes. Activities included designing games to promote healthy habits, developing user journey maps, and conducting usability tests.

The course culminated with a collaborative project in which students, in small teams, designed the 'ideal learning experience.' All concepts were painstakingly sketched by hand. The lectures and activities focused on creativity, collaboration, and understanding user-centred design without relying on digital tools.
