The surrender to life’s uncertainty of Dolan Rushing // This was the first editorial illustration I did. Avram asked us to look for articles we could illustrate. We had to interpret it and transmit the content into an illustration. I found this really good kind of autobiographical article written by some man named Dolan Rushing. He talks about his very tragic life growing up in the Chihuahuan desert.
The Heirs by Montserrat Sahagún book cover // In this assignment we had to do a new book cover for a book we liked. I decided to make a cover for a book my friends and I had been writing. Although it is not finished, we had a general outline and the character profiles, and for me that was enough. I knew this characters from head to toe, everything about their personalities and traits so I wanted to showcase this in an original yet subtle way.
